| 摘 要： | 植物甾醇.甾烷醇在自然界广泛分布,以游离型、脂肪酸酯或糖苷形式存在。植物甾醇.甾烷醇能抑制小肠内胆固醇的吸收,具有降低血清胆固醇的作用。由于其来源于天然植物,且吸收率很低,因此具有很高的安全性。本文对植物甾醇.甾烷醇的降血清胆固醇作用做一综述。

| Abstract: | Plant sterols and stanols are natural hypocholesterolemic compounds with potential to lower serum total cholesterol level and lowdensity lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-cholesterol) level.In contrast they do not influence the HDL-cholesterol level.Stanols appear to be more efficacious than sterols for cholesterol lowering with long-term treatment.Furthermore,plant sterols and stanols can intensify the hypocholesterolemic potential of statins,the most prevalent cholesterol lowering agents that inhibit the hepatic cholesterol synthesis.They are safe as the mechanism of action is exclusively attributed to inhibition of cholesterol absorption across the intestine.The recent progress in cholesterol lowering effects of plant sterols and stanols was reviewed. |
