| Abstract: | A chemical investigation of the flowers and leaves of Syringa pubescens Turcz led to nine compounds, six Secoiridoids glucosides compounds (1–6), three phenylethanoids compounds (7–9). Compounds 3–9 were identified for the first time from S. pubescens, and compounds 5 and 6 were characterized for the first time from the genus Syringa. The results indicated that these compounds could be the chemotaxonomic markers of Oleaceae family. |
