| Abstract: | Polyadenylated RNA was directly isolated from developing rice(Oryza sativa. L) seeds. The major translation product of theisolated polyadenylated RNA in a rabbit reticulocyte cell-freesystem was about 2 kDa larger than the in vivo labeled 57 kDaglutelin precursor, and was immunoprecipitated by antiserumagainst the glutelinprolamin fraction of mature seeds.
