| Abstract: | Summary Freeze etched replicas of hyphae of Verticillium dahliae revealed the presence of paramural bodies and elaborations of the plasmalemma. It is suggested that the presence of these structures in freeze etched preparations is indicative of their presence in living cells rather than as post-mortem artifacts following fixation. |
