Microbial Flora of Pecan Meat

Abstract:Microorganisms found associated with commercially shelled pecan meats are numerous and varied. No bacteria and only two fungal microorganisms, Aspergillus clavatus and Tricothecium species, were found on aseptically shelled pecans.
