| Abstract: | In May 2012, Yale University’s Graduate School of Arts and Sciences held areunion for all who have received doctorates from Yale in the biologicalsciences. The proceedings began with two presentations on the history ofbiological research at Yale: one focused on the Medical School, and the othercentered on the rest of the University. This essay is a lightly edited versionof my account of the history of the biological sciences outside the MedicalSchool. |
