Abstract:The adenosine 3′,5′-monophosphate and guanosine 3′,5′-monophosphate contents of microliter quantities of urine can be determined simultaneously by combining individual protein binding assays for the two nucleotides. 32P-labeled adenosine 3′,5′-monophosphate is bound to a protein from bovine skeletal muscle, while a lobster muscle protein preparation is utilized for binding of 3H-labeled guanosine 3′,5′-monophosphate.
Keywords:cyclic AMP  adenosine 3&prime    5&prime  -monophosphate  cyclic GMP  guanosine 3&prime    5&prime  -mophosphate
