| Abstract: | Summary. A new genus Paralophia ( Orchidaceae ) is established for two Madagascan species formerly assigned to Eulophia as E. epiphytica and E. palmicola . The history, taxonomy, habitat, conservation biology and cultivation of the recently described Paralophia epiphytica from Madagascar are discussed. |
