Abstract: | A new family of highly repetitive sequences which are dispersed in bovine genome is described. The members of the family are visible on agarose or polyacrylamide gels as a diffused band about 510 bp in length arising after digestion with PstI restriction nuclease. This family of fragments comprises the 160 bp bovine Bsu family and is linked with bovine Alu-like sequences. |
