| Abstract: | Recording the fetal ECG as a means of fetal monitoring during labour has been investigated by many researchers. Different signal processing methods have been used, making comparisons difficult so that agreement on several topics has not been reached. We suggest the basis of a standard method of recording and processing the signal which we believe will be acceptable to the research and clinical communities. |
