| Abstract: | 6-(4H-Selenolo3,2-b]pyrrolyl)-L-alanine 1, 4-(6H-selenolo2,3-b]pyrrolyl)-L-alanine 2, and 6-(4H-furo3,2-b]pyrrolyl)-L-alanine 3 have been synthesized via reactions of selenolo3,2-b]pyrrole, selenolo2,3-b]pyrrole, and furo3,2-b]pyrrole, respectively, with L-serine. The reactions are catalyzed by Salmonella typhimurium tryptophan synthase. |
