Abstract: | Brain creatine kinase is principally of soluble cytoplasmic origin (anodal electrophoretic mobility). However, synaptosomal membranes and synaptic vesicles are enriched in an isoenzyme electrophoretically similar to muscle type creatine kinase (cathodal electrophoretic mobility), but which can be distinguished from muscle type by other means. |
