Abstract: | Immobilization of mold aminoacylase (N-acylamino acid amidohydrolase, EC 3.5.1.14) was investigated by covalently binding the enzyme to halogenoacetylcelluloses. As a result, the iodoacetylcellulose was found to be the best carrier among the halogenoacetylcelluloses. The yield of activity of the insoluble aminoacylase relative to that of the native aminoacylase used was 40–50%, and the specific activities of both enzyme preparations were the same within the limits of error of the estimation. |
