| Abstract: | The herpes simplex virus thymidine kinase gene has been cloned into a chimeric yeast plasmid cloning vehicle and transformed into appropriate yeast strains. Plasmids carrying the herpes simplex virus thymidine kinase gene can be propagated as autonomously replicating plasmids, but no RNA specific to the thymidine kinase coding sequence was detected. |
