道贝线虫的组织化学研究

摘    要:道贝线虫肠细胞中的金橙颗粒经组织化学证明含有血红蛋白,同时也证明此线虫没有铁离子的储备,不能合成血红蛋白。作者认为血红蛋白来自其寄主旋螺,其主要功能为储备氧。

Abstract:1.Intestinal cells of the nematode,Daubaylia are packed with golden orange gra- nules.These pigment granules possess peroxidase activity and can be stained black with iron hematoxylin.By the treatment of saturated picric alcohol,the pigment alone is dissolved away,leaving empty membrane-bound vesicles still packed together. 2.Based upon histochemical evidences,the fresh golden colour of the granules is due to hemoglobin which is derived from the host snail Gyraulus and is incorporated into the granules (vesicles).Since both Perls' and Gmelin's reactions are negative the nematode is unable to synthesize hemoglobin by itself. 3.Probably these hemoglobin-containing granules serve as oxygen stores to facilitate respiration but can be used as food during starvation. 4.The route of renewal and turnover of this exogeneous hemoglobin is unknown.
