| Abstract: | Transplantation assays suggest that multipotent stem cells maintain the two lineages of the mammary gland. Recently in Nature, Van Keymeulen et al. (2011) used lineage tracing to discover unipotent stem cells that maintain the bulk of the mouse mammary gland after birth and during pregnancy. |
