Mapping of the 5' termini of two adeno-associated virus 2 RNAs in the left half of the genome. |

| Abstract: | The left 45% of the adeno-associated virus 2 genome was sequenced. The 5' termini of two adeno-associated virus-specific RNAs were mapped at the nucleotide level within this region of the genome (nucleotides 286 to 288 and 871 to 874). Both of these 5' termini map 31 +/- 2 nucleotides downstream from the start of "TATA' boxes. |
