| Abstract: | Pre-incubation at 4°C increases the zone of bacterial growth inhibition produced by methanolic extracts of freshwater algae in the agar diffusion assay. Preloading of wells with methanol increases the inhibition zone produced by water-insoluble antibiotics. |
