| 摘 要： | 本文用改变麻雀实验种群光照周期的方法,探讨了集群状况与其腺性发育的关系。实验结果表明:增加光照时间能使处于性休止期的性腺发育,但其发育程度不仅与延长光照时间而且与集群的状况有关;在相同的光照条件下,群鸟的性腺发育比单饲鸟显著。由此可见,麻雀冬季集群具有激发性腺发育的生物学意义。

| Abstract: | Recurrence of sexual gland in relation to winter flocking in sparrows was studied by prolonging the daily photoperiod during sexual resting period in experimental populations of sparrows. Results showed that prolonged daily photoperiod did have an effect on recurrence of sexual gland, the degree of recurrence, however, not only depended on the duration of prolonged daily photoperiod, but also on the status of flocking. Under certain conditions of photoperiod, the recurrence of sexual gland in flocking birds was more significant than that in the isolated single birds, which suggested that winter flocking in sparrow would be an essential process for later reproduction. |
