| 摘 要： | 根据动物存活率与平均寿命的定义，推导出存活率与平均寿命的数学关系，即：E=-1lnr，其中E表示动物的平均寿命或期望寿命(可以用日、周、月、年等表示)，r表示特定时段内(可以用日、周、月、年等表示)动物的平均存活率，其时间单位与E相对应．根据这种关系，可以利用动物的平均存活率估计其平均寿命(或期望寿命)，反之，如果已知动物的平均寿命，也可以用来推算动物的平均存活率．

| Abstract: | Based the definitions of the survival rate and the lifespan of the animal, we
derive the mathematical relationship between these two items, namely:E = -1/Inr where E is the
lifespan (or average lifetime) of an animal (in any convenient time unit such as day, week, month,
or year), and r denotes the survival rate of the animal under the same time unit scare. Using this function, we can estimate the avergae lifetime (or lifespan) by the survival rate of animal. Furthermore, we can also estimate the survival rate by the lifespan of the animal. |
