Abstract: | Immunogold labelling techniques allied with electron microscopy have shown that the toxin of Pseudomonas avenae which is isolated from the growth medium localizes on the cell surface of the bacterium. Antisera against P. avenae R-bodies, however, cross-react with the specific R-body structure in a cell. |
