Abstract: | Condensed interphase chromosomes of the cultured human lymphocytes obtained by the fusion of interphase and metaphase cells were studied using C- and Q-bands techniques. The appearance and localization of the constitutive heterochromatin blocks on condensed chromosomes at G1-period were the same as on the metaphase ones. These characters were used for a group and individual identification of some chromosomes condensed at G1-period and for a study of the association of the constitutive heterochromatin blocks in the interphase nuclei. The fluorescent analysis of the chromosomes condensed at G1-period detected some bright fluorescent blocks of the constitutive heterochromatin. |
