Abstract: | A polymorphism of S-globulin was detected in serum of Silurus glanis L. by starch gel electrophoresis. Three phenotypes were observed which are apparently controlled by two codominant alleles, SgA and SgB , of an autosomal locus, Sg . Although on electrophoresis S-globulin and transferrin have similar mobilities, the properties of the two proteins differ. |
