Relationship between amino acid production and phosphate-dissolving capacity of bacteria

Abstract:The ability of soil bacteria to produce amino acids (alanine, aspartic acid, leucine, arginine, glutamic acid, and lysine) was related to the ability to dissolve inorganic phosphate. With the exception of lysine, amino acid production increased with increasing ability to dissolve phosphate.
