| Abstract: | From the cultures of spore-derived mycobionts of the lichen Lecanora leprosa a novel naphtho1,8-cd]pyran-3-one derivative, lecanopyrone, was isolated. Its structure was determined by spectroscopic methods. The assembly pattern of acetate units in its biosynthesis was verified using sodium 1-13C]-acetate and sodium 1,2-13C2]-acetate. |
