| Abstract: | A model predicting phosphorus and nitrogen concentrations from loading rates was tested using data collected from a shallow, nutrient-rich lake where both internal and external loading occurred. Predicted nutrient concentrations agreed closely with obaerved values and it is suggested that the model could be used to predict the reduction in loading rate required to effect lake restoration. |
