| Abstract: | Summary The adaptation of yeast to galactose utilization allows the simultaneous uptake of galactose and glucose, during high cell
density fermentation. Furthermore, yeast cells grown in galactose show higher rates of glucose uptake than those under derepressing
conditions. |
