Abstract: | Summary Microbial cells were immobilized in polyurethane foam as well as polyurethane gel using liquid hydrophilic polyisocyanates which react with only the addition of water. Cell concentration is about 10% (w/v) and relative activity is about 50% depending on the type of biocatalytic reaction. |
