| Abstract: | The changes in isolated rat liver mitochondria induced by protamine or gramicidin and by protamine plus gramicidin have been investigated electron microscopically. The results are as follows: - 1.
- 1. Inhibition of succinate (plus rotenone) oxidation induced by protamine caused mitochondrial shrinkage with collapse of outer and inner lamina of mitochondrial membrane and of cristae.
