| Abstract: | A new interpretation of the anatomy and systematic position of Peraclistus oofagus , an ectocommensal on the queen crab, Chionoecetis opilio , is presented. P. oofagus is redescribed and it is claimed that the original interpretation was erroneous. The genus Peraclistus is redefined both on the basis of this study and on examination of the type material, of the other members of this genus. |
