| Abstract: | The synthesis and characterization of new Cu(II) complexes with morpholinebiguanide drug are described. The complexes formed have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR, UV-VIS, conductance measurements, EPR spectra and magnetic susceptibility measurements. Their biological activity is supported by the experimental data and enhanced by the theoretical ones. The morpholinebiguanide ligand and their copper(II)-complexes were studied by molecular mechanics program. |
