Abstract: | Summary Growth hormone (GH)-immunoreactive material was found to occur in the antral gastrin cells and in scattered cells of the pancreatic islets in several mammalian species, including man. Examination of gastrinomas revealed the majority of tumour cells to display GH-like immunoreactivity. The present findings were first reported at the 2nd International Symposium on Gastrointestinal Hormones in Beito, Norway, August 1978.
