| Abstract: | Images of ion sources in the plasma of a micropinch discharge were recorded. The most intense ion source was found to be a
⩾1-mm-diameter 3-mm-long anode region. The main contribution to the images is made by single-charged ions of the plasma-forming
element with energies of 10–50 keV. |
