GDP kinase activity associated with salt-washed ribosomes. |

| Abstract: | In the presence of ATP, 1M-salt-washed ribosomes and subunits of both eukaryotes and prokaryotes phosphorylate GDP to 5′GTP. A possible role for the ribosome-associated GDP kinase is presented. |
