Ultrastructural localization of apamin binding sites in guinea pig intestinal smooth muscle

Binding sites of the neurotoxin apamin were located by immunocytochemical analysis using apamin antibodies. It was found that these bindings sites were located on the plasma membrane of smooth muscle cells in the longitudinal muscle of the cecum and at the nerve terminals in the guinea pig.A. V.
