| Abstract: | Abstract This paper deals with the internal structures of the stomachs of the atyid prawns Caridina africana, Atyaephyra desmaresti desmaresti and A. d. orientalis and of the palaemonid prawns Palaemon elegans and Palaemonetes antennarius. The various regions of the stomach are described and discussed in relation to diet. |
