| Abstract: | This brief review provides an overview of the pathogenesis of malaria, the human immune response to malaria, current methodology for malaria diagnosis, and current antimalarial drug regimens. The review also provides a critical evaluation of the research directions in the areas of drug design and vaccine design. |
