Abstract: | This article discusses the use of a case study to test the validity of a hypothesis. The conjecture posed is that a specific model for planning and implementation decisions that applies to the leadership aspects of investment decisions will lead to improved planning and implementation success. The model is flexible and comprehensive and could serve as a foundation for reminder guidelines for issues that comprise decision making. A retrospective analysis of the case is used to confirm that a consideration of the issues raised by the model would indeed have prevented the difficulties encountered by the company in the case. |
