| Abstract: | Potato phosphorylase isoenzymes were separated by gel electrophoresis, and DEAE-Sephadex chromatography. Electrofocusing experiments showed a heterogeneity in isolelectric point. Molecular weights and Stokes-radii were estimated using Sephadex G200. The adsorption on glycogen of two low molecular weight forms, probably dimers, was investigated by means of gel electrophoresis. The dissociation constants were 5 × 10−5 and 2 × 10−3% glycogen. |
