Abstract:Oligosaccharides derived from cell wall of fungal DL603 were isolated and purified. The hydrolysis of the fungal DL603 with enzyme G603 was conducted, and ion exchange and gel filtration chromatography were exploited for purification of the products. Biologically active fractions were determined by soybean cotyledon assay. Dionex high performance anion exchange chromatography (HPAEC) analysis showed that the oligosaccharides were purified with certain degree of polymerization, and the highest active fractions consisted of glucosamine, galactose, glucose and mannose.
