| Abstract: | In order to identify the chromosomal assignment for the human indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase (IDO) gene, we performed the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) using somatic cell hybrids and screened for the presence of amplified products. The results indicate that the human IDO gene can be assigned to chromosome 8. |
