| Abstract: | 2-Naphthyl-substituted glucopyranosylidene-spiro-oxathiazole prepared following a novel design principle was found to be the best known glucose analogue inhibitor of rabbit muscle glycogen phosphorylase b (K(i) 160 nM). |
