| Abstract: | The results of the genus Hydrophis revision s. str. are presented. The genus is divided into three subgenera, including Mediohydrophis subgen. nov. The validity of Hydrophis atriceps and H. (Microcephalophis) gracilis microcephalus is confirmed.
