| Abstract: | A novel furansesquiterpenoid, tetraenol, was isolated from a relict shrub plant, Tetraena mongolica, collected from the northern desert of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. The structure of the new compound was elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic analysis. |
