Abstract: | A preliminary chemical analysis of human nightsoil has revealed one fraction, insoluble in ether and ethanol but soluble in acetone and water, which has proved to have a definite inhibitory effect upon the development of Ascaris eggs. Further analyses of this fraction are under way. |
