| Abstract: | The patterns of genetic polymorphism for soluble enzymes are similar in Colorado populations of Drosophila pseudoobscura at 1 800 and 3 500 m above sea level although their chromosomal polymorphisms are very different. Whatever forces of natural selection might affect enzyme variation cannot easily be related to the ecological parameters which change with altitude. |
