A modified procedure for the analysis of mixtures of tissue gangliosides

Abstract— A modified procedure is described for quantification of gangliosides in a mixture using thin-layer chromatography. Using this procedure, the gangliosides in human peripheral nerve were quantified, and compared with those in cerebral cortex and white matter.
