| Abstract: | Enterococci respond to iron deprivation in vitro by increasing the expression of a number of iron-regulated proteins. They detected in whole protoplasts lysates and corresponded to proteins with apparent molecular masses of the region 14.4-43 Kda. Their occurrence were correlated to siderophore production. |
