Abstract: | Summary The interference by glycerol and other carbon sources with production of cephem antibiotics by resting cells ofStreptomyces clawligerus was found to be related to aeration conditions. When a low cell density or increased aeration was used, carbon sources did not have any effect on the rate of production. |
