Abstract:Length–weight relationships (LWRs) were estimated for three species of fish from the upper Yangtze River, southwest China. Samples were collected using fish cages (0.4 × 0.4 × 15 m; mouth opening: 10 × 10 cm; mesh size: 0.5 cm) and electro‐fishing equipment (12 V) from July to November throughout the years 2017, in Lu Zhou range of the Yangtze River. The b values of all species were within the expected ranges, varying between 2.885 and 3.314. Data of three species represent the first description of LWRs and one species have new record of maximum length.
